TRONA played our first show on July 13, 2024 at Light Rail Studios as part of Doug the cameraman’s birthday party.

Greg Turner had to be picked up by Bill at about 10:30pm over in Berkeley because he was working the bar at the Greek Theater for a Dark Star Orchestra show. So Bill and Greg made it over to Light Rail sometime after 11pm and TRONA started up shortly before midnight. We managed to clear the room pretty well by the end of the second song, but a hard core and quite lovely fan group consisting of Nick, Jana, China, Thede, Wednesday, Freeway and maybe one or two other people stuck around to see the whole show. Thanks, all of you!

We had a great time. Piper texted the rest of the band the next day to say, “Couldn’t ask for better first gig, thanks guys.”

Super big thanks to Freeway for all his help with the sound and lights, and to Doug for inviting us to play.
